TOBY PRICE SWITCHES UP RALLY PLANS TO RAISE MONEY FOR KIDS WITH CANCER

Toby Price has always been a cool guy in our books but taking time out from his busy rally schedule to help raise funds for children with cancer has put him on another level. Hats off to you Pricey…

Australia’s top off-road racer Toby Price took time out from his busy schedule to take part in Australia’s biggest dirt bike charity event – the 2015 KTM Ride4Kids – at Broadford, Victoria.

Around 250 enthusiastic dirt bike riders revelled in near perfect conditions yesterday at the KTM Ride4Kids Motocross/Enduro Event, a major fundraising event held each year for Challenge.

Now in its 14th year, riders of all levels from around Victoria attended the event for a full day of non-competitive motocross and enduro riding.

Each year the KTM Ride4Kids event raises vital funds, which enables Challenge to continue to provide its comprehensive support programs to children and families living with cancer.

This year was Toby Price’s third consecutive time he has attended the KTM Ride4Kids. He flew back early from South America especially to take part.

“A huge storm forced the cancellation of the Inca Desafío of the Dakar Rally in Peru so I asked KTM Australia if it was possible to change my flights to come back a couple of days earlier,” Toby said.

“We had around 250 riders out there. It was the biggest turnout we have ever had. The Broadford track was unreal. It was a great day for the kids. It’s an event I really like being at and supporting a great cause for Challenge,” Toby added.

Challenge CEO David Rogers was thrilled with how the day turned out.

“The 2015 KTM Ride4Kids has been a great success. Over the past 14 years, we have raised over $750,000 for children and families living with cancer. The support that KTM has provided to Challenge over the years has been outstanding,” David said.

“Having Toby Price, the number one rider in the country, at the event was a great honour. Toby is on the verge of worldwide fame after recently signing onto the Red Bull KTM Factory Rally team, so for him to come along shows what a fantastic individual he is, on and off the track,” David added.
