THE BEST OF HARD ENDURO 2014
What a year the 2014 Hard Enduro season turned out to be. Six races and four different winners – not too many people expected that.
Graham Jarvis led everyone home at February’s Hell’s Gate but thoughts of Jarvis repeating that form for the rest of the year were quickly squashed at the very next race.
David Knight made a brief but very memorable outing at The Tough One to claim one of the most dramatic victories of the season.
After that it was all about Jonny Walker. Winning Erzberg in a dominating fashion Walker then went on to topple Jarvis at the Red Bull Romaniacs – an event Jarvis has long made his own.
Fighting back to win the Red Bull Sea to Sky in convincing style, Jarvis finally put an end to what seemed like a very long winless summer for the Husqvarna rider.
At Extreme Lagares many tipped Jarvis to make it two victories on the bounce but Alfredo Gomez had other ideas. Determined to put his year of illness, injury and bad luck behind him, Gomez claimed his debut Hard Enduro win.
With more winners than ever before and some new names appearing at the top of the results sheet, 2015 can’t come quick enough!
