ONBOARD – RACING THE WILD WILD WEST
With its saloon bars and town streets, the start of the Virginia City Grand Prix certainly does look like the Wild Wild West.
Now in its 44th year, the Virginia City Grand Prix is one of America’s greatest off road races and on the bucket list of most riders.
A three-hour, 92-mile race starts on tarmac, the course then winds its way through a tonne of single track trails and mining roads in a 25-mile loop across the surrounding mountains.
This year KTM’s Travis Coy took the win.
