Facts of 2014 Battle of Vikings
Race starts Friday afternoon with a prologue, which will decide the starting order on Saturday’s main event.
Prologue takes places on a shorter and faster track in intense heats with around 20 riders in each heat.
In the Main Event on Saturday, the riders are released in intervals to the long extreme enduro course, with the winner of the prologue starting first.
The track takes the rider through tough natural sections in the forests, technically difficult man made obstacles and challenging up hills and descents in Storstenshöjdens slopes.
