BELLINO FASTEST BUT ITALY WIN AT SUPERTESTS
Mathias Bellino topped the time sheets in tonight’s super test in front of a massively enthusiastic Italian crowd.
Awesome crowd support was the theme of the night as the Italian spectators roared, cheered, set of firecrackers and waved chain saw for the duration of the action.
Despite his knee being held together with precision placed strapping, Christophe Nambotin got his KTM around the test quickest in Enduro 1 from Cristobal Guerrero and Lorenzo Santolino.
Jaume Betriu was fastest in Enduro 2 from Johnny Aubert and Pela Renet. Alex Salvini was fourth while Antoine Meo fifth presumably lost a couple of tenths due to waving at the crowd on his way around.
Bellino topped the time sheets in E3 but only just as Matt Phillips crossed the line one hundredth of a second a drift. Two seconds further back was Manuel Monni.
Jamie McCanney – fastest in Enduro Junior – was two tenths shy of Bellino in the overall standings. In the Youth Cup it was Josep Garcia who an early lead.
